Join our IT TEAM and bring your expertise to shape world-class digital solutions. We are seeking a motivated Backend Developer with a strong command of Python and Django to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional experience in backend development, with a proven record of designing and maintaining scalable backend systems.

As a Rhino, You Will

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Django.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement security and data protection measures.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards and best practices.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in backend development.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a back-end developer, specifically in Python;
Experience with Django and Django Rest Framework (API);
Knowledge of Django ORM;
Experience with Docker;
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins);
Solid understanding of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB);
Experience designing and building RESTful APIs;
Familiarity with version control systems like Git;
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
Strong communication and collaboration skills;
Proficiency in English and Portuguese (at least B2 level);
Available to work remotely (based in Porto or northern Portugal).

Nice To Have

Knowledge of AI tools or technologies (OpenAI Service, Airflow, Mlflow);
Experience with React.js (Next.js);
Experience with file-oriented database (Delta Table - Delta Lake / Apache Iceberg);
Experience with unit/integration tests.
