You provide software and applications expertise, and be responsible for implementation of the solutions.
How you will contribute
You will oversee the planning and execution of software and applications. To do so, you will manage an internal team and partner with external suppliers and use your deep technical and market knowledge and thorough understanding of our business goals find and deploy the right software and application solutions for the future. You will support programs to implement regional and global software and application strategies, offer input to financial planning and controls for software and applications on a regional and global level, collaborate with management and follow-up on requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and payments, explores opportunities to leverage scale and drive savings, and ensure that support service level objectives and key performance indicators are accomplished.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive logistics approve portfolio encompassing both transportation and warehousing functions.
- Champion digital transformation efforts across logistics operations, fostering a culture of innovation and operational improvement.
- Align logistics operations with business goals to deliver enhanced efficiency, cost savings, and scalability.
Transportation Management:
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of transportation management systems (e.g., Descartes Route Planner, Oracle Transportation Management).
- Enhance real-time tracking, route optimization, and integration of transportation solutions.
- Collaborate with external partners to drive improvements in customs, track-and-trace applications, and overall transportation workflows.
Warehousing Management:
- Lead digital initiatives in warehousing, including SAP EWM to S/4HANA migration and integration.
- Optimize warehousing operations to deliver automation, efficiency, and seamless system connectivity.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards in warehousing systems and processes.
Program and Stakeholder Management:
- Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring timely delivery of complex programs in transportation and warehousing domains.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment between business and technology objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor partnerships, leading contract negotiations and ensuring successful solution delivery.
Performance and Compliance:
- Drive the identification and achievement of strategic KPIs in transportation and warehousing, emphasizing transparency, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal governance, including information security and privacy standards.
What You Will Bring to the Role
Leadership and Digital Transformation Expertise:
- Proven track record of managing large-scale logistics application programs and digital transformation projects.
- Ability to lead organizational change and foster a culture of innovation in logistics operations.
Strategic Vision:
- Expertise in aligning technology solutions with business goals, enhancing long-term supply chain efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex logistics challenges.
Program and Vendor Management Skills:
- Extensive experience in managing large-scale projects with a focus on timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Skilled in selecting, negotiating, and managing technology vendors to maximize ROI.
Deep Functional Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of transportation and warehousing management systems, including SAP ECC, SAP EWM, Descartes, and Oracle solutions.
- Expertise in leveraging these systems to improve integration, automation, and visibility across logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics leadership roles, with a focus on IT-driven initiatives in transportation and warehousing.
- Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and SAP technologies (e.g., SAP EWM) are highly advantageous.
