The general target pay range for this position is $130,200 - $162,700 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
Job Purpose/Overview:
The Reference Laboratory Content and Data Manager will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer. This position will be responsible for the content maintenance and architecture of the various descriptions, qualifying comments and interpretive comments on all reference laboratory offerings. In addition, the successful candidate will take product and customer data to optimize developing and existing offerings. This includes aiding to ready research and development projects for commercialization, proactive evaluation of existing assays and aiding in the development and refinement of reference intervals.

Be responsible for keeping interpretive comments and test descriptions current based on advancements and customer feedback as required.
Liaise with the relevant stakeholders of our reporting software (i.e. technical product manager, commercial product manager) to ensure that the data we communicate is the most useful to our customers.
Work closely with Quality Assurance to troubleshoot and optimize reference lab tests and point of care instruments.
Look for opportunities for synergies and efficiency within our full catalog of testing
Liaise with the other banners of Mars Petcare, where appropriate, on data related to existing and developing products.
Work closely with and provide updates to senior leadership team, People & Organization, operations, marketing, etc. within Antech.
This position is remote with approximately 20% travel for conferences, leadership meetings, etc.

Education and Experience:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in laboratory operations and/or data analysis
Be familiar with the use of laboratory testing in clinical veterinary medicine
Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize.
Strong passion for helping people and animals.
Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with clients and management is required.

Fluency in English
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ideagen Q-Pulse knowledge preferred.
Travel:
Will there be notable travel in this position? Yes, approximately 20%
Working Conditions:
The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Fluency in the English language and the ability to communicate via the telephone and in person. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch.
The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment including the use of cubicles, computers, and overhead lighting. Temperature extremes will be minimal to nonexistent. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate may be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, database management, email, and the internet.
