Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Partnerships Manager focused on serving and growing our network of partners in proven markets. Leveraging genuine relationship building skills, outreach tools, messaging strategy, and team playbooks to nurture new partners and bring evergreen value to existing partners, you will own individual metrics of success and ensure we cultivate students from our partner network. You will pursue rapid growth of student applications to drive access to the future of meaningful project-based learning and research opportunities for students across the world.

You will work closely with our Director of Partnerships and partnerships team to manage email communication efforts, work with our partnerships pipelines, build new relationships with partners, and provide responsive, valuable service to partners in support of their students. You will also contribute significantly to our strategy around partner acquisition and retention.

In the first 3 months, you will…

  • Onboard successfully to the team and our vision.
  • Become fluent in speaking about our educational programs and their value for learners.
  • Learn and implement our playbooks for nurturing, harvesting, and outreach.
  • Support team strategy development and implementation.
  • Be a consistent, empathetic and informed representative of the company to the creator community.

In your first 6 months, you will…

  • Build relationships with your book of business
  • Build out your book of business with new partners that you cultivate and bring on board, and nurture them towards their first student.
  • Represent Polygence at network convenings such as conferences, travel on behalf of the company to meet with partners, and become a new face of the company.
  • Make meaningful connections with internal teams and make an impact on processes and systems.

Position Requirements

  • Preference will be given to candidates in the Bay Area who can work from our headquarters in Menlo Park 2 days/ week.
  • Confident mastery of Hubspot as an acquisitions and retention tool as well as a CRM.
  • Travel up to 6 weeks per year.
  • Experience working with students or young people.

Salary And Benefits

  • Competitive salary and generous equity: The salary for this position is $90,000. Opportunities to earn performance bonuses are available at regular intervals.
