You will own quality excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation by establishing robust quality assurance frameworks, promoting best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and deliver high-quality products and services

The Role

  • Owns the delivery of a positive ROI for the Continuous Improvement (CI) & Quality Management (QM) function through cost saving or revenue generation by process improvement
  • Owns the overall approach and plan for Quality planning, assurance and testing activities
  • Makes data driven and risk-based decisions (based on KPIs and compliance issues) and practices that deviate from standard to prioritise the work of the CI & QM function
  • Provides process and documentation quality assurance and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams
  • Delivers technical quality assurance and continuous improvement processes with input from Operations Continuous Improvement team and Engineering teams
  • Supports Agile Coach efforts through detailed process improvement and making processes more agile
  • Embeds non-technical change management within Technology, communicating change inside and outside the CTO organisation
  • Manages change control and supports embedment of business change, with input from Operations OCM team
  • Facilitates change conversations within cross-functional teams and ExCo
  • Manages self & task role models Arqiva’s culture goals with the team, building respect and credibility; set a high-performance bar and challenge the team to deliver sustainable results, by developing the skills and capabilities of the team and focusing on outcomes
  • Manages relationships & communications connects, collaborates & leads communication transparently, balancing face to face and virtual, with own team and teams across the business to encourage cross-functional understanding, agreement and knowledge sharing

The person

  • Industry leading skills in continuous improvement methodologies, to identify inefficiencies, streamline processes, and drive operational excellence
  • Proficiency in quality management principles, methodologies, and tools to implement and manage quality assurance processes and practices effectively
  • Ability to drive change initiatives, overcome resistance to change, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Excellent analytical skills to analyse relevant data against performance indicators, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve
  • Strong problem-solving skills to evaluate issues and collaborate with wider quality team to develop solutions
  • Highly effective communication, stakeholder management and reporting skills to communicate audit findings, insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Excellent understanding of quality management principles and methodologies
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements, standards, and industry regulations related to process quality
  • Management proficiency in influencing, analysis, decision making, empathy, communications, and adaptability
  • Experience in ownership process improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis, process mapping, and performance metrics, to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
  • Familiarity with agile principles and frameworks to integrate quality assurance activities seamlessly into agile development processes and ensure alignment with sprint goals and objectives
