We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design and optimize data architecture, ensuring reliable and scalable data processing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate and make data accessible, driving data-driven decisions through innovative solutions. This role also involves leading and mentoring a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

Your Job Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient data pipelines to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

  • Build and optimize data architectures and databases to support data ingestion, transformation, storage, and retrieval.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.

  • Implement and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Drive the adoption of best practices in data engineering, including coding standards, testing, and version control.

  • Work closely with data scientists, analysts, backend developers, and the product team to enable advanced analytics and machine learning workflows.

  • Develop and enforce data governance and security standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Mentor and guide junior data engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in data engineering, proposing innovative solutions to enhance our data capabilities.



Skills and Qualifications Required


  • Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer, with 5 years of experience and a strong track record of designing and implementing large-scale data solutions.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with expertise in building data pipelines and workflows.

  • Deep understanding of data modeling, database design, and query optimization for relational and NoSQL databases.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including data services like Redshift and BigQuery.

  • Proficiency with specialized platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks for advanced data management and analytics.

  • Strong knowledge of distributed data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Kafka, or Flink.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Apache Superset, Tableau, or similar platforms to support insights and reporting.

  • Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Prefect, or other similar platforms for workflow automation.

  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.




Good To Have

  • Experience with real-time data streaming technologies.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Knowledge of machine learning model deployment workflows.

  • Exposure to multi-cloud environments.

  • Certifications from cloud providers like AWS or Azure, or data platforms like Snowflake or BigQuery.
