As our business is constantly growing, we are now recruiting new team members to our
Intelligent Devices team that focuses on working on projects around
IoT and
Edge Computing. This team delivers various software solutions for our clients in industrial domain by creating solutions for intelligent devices such as drones, forest machinery and other industrial solutions. We are currently looking for both
Senior Software Developers and
Software Architects to join our team in Helsinki, Joensuu, Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Lahti, Oulu, Pori, Tampere, Turku, Vaasa or remotely in Finland.
Senior Software Developers for industrial domain projects
- You have gathered relevant work experience with middleware software development with some of the following technologies: Go, Java/Kotlin, C#, TypeScript or Python
- You have strong experience working with cloud platforms such Azure, AWS or GCP
- It is seen as a big plus, if you especially have worked with Azure IoT Hub or AWS IoT Core
- It is also a plus if you already have work experience in industrial automation, IoT, edge computing, and understand low-level development
- It is also a plus if you have knowledge with some of the dominant domain technologies, frameworks and practices, such as: Microservices, Kubernetes, KubeEdge, Docker, DevSecOps, OPC UA, MQTT Sparkplug B and NATS
For us, the most important thing above any specific technologies is that you have good software development practices, and that you are willing to learn new things and grow as a developer.
Software Architects for industrial domain projects
In addition to the list above, the following skills help you to succeed in this position:
- You help but also challenge the customer to solve the right problems, aiming to create maximal value to the customer through our work
- You can work as an architect who defines the base of projects
- You are interested in creating software with a long and sustainable life cycle
- You understand how device provisioning, certificate management, data transfer and OTA updates work even in challenging network conditions
- You are interested in supporting our sales team in technical pre-sales work

As a key technology, data and design partner, Solita’s business relies on trust and accountability. Therefore, the successful candidate may be checked for credit history and may be required to take a drug test.
