QA Engineer

Our client Signal simplifies the $15 billion US used vehicle import market, an industry long dependent on manual processes. Our platform enables dealers to buy, finance, process and sell vehicles more efficiently than ever before. Signal created its end-to-end platform after living the business – having imported tens of thousands of vehicles from Canada to the US, and now providing solutions such as flexible financing, payments and cross-border insurance.

In this role, you will provide technical support for the software development team by creating and updating automated test cases, ensuring accuracy and integrity of software testing, and performing other functions which are integral to the software development process.

As QA Engineer - you will:

- Analyze software requirements and design specifications to develop test cases

- Collaborate closely with product, project, development and QA engineers to achieve engineering team goals and objectives

- Design, develop, and execute frontend automated test cases to validate software functionality

- Know your way around tools such as Postman, browser debuggers and VPNs

- Capture, investigate, and document product issues and bugs

- Test and audit the software as part of regular releases

We expect you to have:

- Good understanding of automated testing techniques and willingness to develop automation skills further

- Strong experience with testing software, web or mobile app based

- Good knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Comfortable written and spoken English

- University degree

Nice to have:

- Experience in BOTH web and mobile app testing

- Familiarity with Python or other languages for test automation

- Familiarity with targeting Flutter and/or other web and mobile frameworks for testing

Salary

Gross salary FROM 2,500 EUR based on skills and experience.
