Job purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager with expertise in software development and marketing projects to support our Digital Production Director. This is a mid-level role ideal for a candidate who excels at balancing technical and creative workflows, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives in fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating the development of digital solutions and marketing campaigns while collaborating with cross-functional teams.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage day-to-day communication between the Director, freelancers, internal teams, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist in creating regular reports and conducting research to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
  • Oversee task management and follow-ups, ensuring deadlines are met and workflows are streamlined.
  • Work closely with the Director and other teams to align on project goals and deliverables.


Job details: 

  • Location: Position is 90% remote, with in-person meetings held 2-4 times a month. We welcome candidates based in Nicaragua.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM NI Time Zone
  • Type: Full-Time Agreement

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Project & Task Coordination:
      • Assist in managing multiple ongoing projects in social media management, graphic design, and web development under the guidance of the Digital Production Director.
      • Follow up on tasks assigned to freelancers and team members, ensuring updates are communicated clearly and promptly. 
      • Organize and facilitate daily and weekly meetings with teams, freelancers, and clients, documenting outcomes and actionable next steps.
    • Team & Communication Management: 
      • Act as the central point of contact between the Digital Production Director, team members, and clients to maintain transparent communication and accountability.
      • Oversee task prioritization and workflow clarity, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned on project expectations.
      • Track payroll for freelancers by monitoring hours worked and providing necessary information for invoicing.
      • Address client inquiries through email and project management tools, ensuring a high level of professionalism and responsiveness.
    • Research & Problem Solving:
      • Assist in researching creative and technical solutions to problems as directed by the Digital Production Director.
      • Present findings and options to the Director for decision-making and further action, ensuring all research is thorough and solutions-oriented.
    • Reporting & Data Management: 
      • Develop comprehensive reports on project status, task completion, team hours, and overall project performance for both internal and client-facing purposes.
      • Analyze data related to team performance, hours spent on tasks, and deliverables to create clear, easy-to-read reports for internal review and client updates.
      • Support invoicing in Zoho by tracking recurring monthly fees and one-time project payments, ensuring accurate logging of payment schedules.
    • Copywriting & Content Assistance:
      • Assist with creating and refining content for social media, websites, email campaigns, and landing pages, based on provided input and raw data. 
      • Support the development of client-facing content, ensuring alignment with the creative direction from the Director.


    Required Academic Background:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in digital production.
    • C1 or higher proficiency in English, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills


    Required Skills and Experience:

    • 4+ years of experience managing digital marketing, creative, and development projects.
    • Proven track record of coordinating social media, graphic design, and web development initiatives.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and stakeholders.
    • Proficient in project management tools such as Asana, Jira, and Monday, with the ability to track tasks and progress. 
    • Familiarity with digital production tools, including Quidlo, Birdeye, Meta Business Suite, Zoho, and Power BI.
    • Advanced Excel skills for creating reports and tracking hours, tasks, and invoices.
    • Experience with reporting metrics such as project progress, hours worked, and community engagement is preferred but not mandatory.
    • Basic understanding of social media copywriting and content creation for websites and marketing platforms.
      Ability to manage daily social media interactions, including responding to comments, direct messages, and engaging with followers.
    • Perform three daily checks on client social media accounts to respond to comments, answer direct messages, and engage with the audience.
    • Track and report key social media metrics, such as engagement rates and audience growth, providing actionable insights for the Director.
    • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to take direction well. This is a growth-oriented role, where you will be guided toward greater responsibility over time
    • The ability to see the bigger picture and understand how different parts of a system are connected. 


    Nice to Have (Not exclusive):

    • Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile, or similar) to enhance project coordination skills, It's a plus.
    • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power B, Google Data Studio) for reporting and presenting insights effectively.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.

      • Problem-solving skills focused on researching and presenting creative solutions, but always in collaboration with the Director. 
    • Team Leadership Potential
      • Though you will be guided, this role requires the ability to manage people by ensuring accountability, addressing queries from freelancers, and keeping the team on schedule. 
      • Confidence to manage multiple stakeholders under supervision and relay important updates to the Director.
