About the Role
The Senior Content Researcher will serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) providing knowledge and research for authoritative and data-backed content. This position will be highly collaborative and function as the go-to expert supporting the demand generation team in the development of cornerstone marketing assets and demand generation campaigns.
Responsibilities
In partnership with marketing colleagues, the Senior Content Researcher will develop and review content to support full funnel marketing activities, including web copy and blog posts, data sheets, case studies, guides, whitepapers, videos, presentations, and webinars.
This role will provide cybersecurity subject matter expertise on a variety of topics including:
Research on cybersecurity issues and threats such as TTPs, threat actor groups, vulnerabilities, new and evolving regulatory requirements, market-shaping trends, including category consolidation and emerging product categories.
Maintain deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST and MITRE ATT&K) as well as vertical-specific regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, FFIEC, CMMC 2.0, etc.)
Understand enterprise cybersecurity buyer and the end-user; how they buy and their buying criteria; and how end-users use the product
Strive to continuously deliver industry, market, competitive, and product insights to support positioning, campaign development, and company growth
Who You Are
Excellent researcher with experience using third-party sources, internal data sources, and interviewing SMEs
In depth knowledge of the cybersecurity marketplace, enterprise buying habits, and competitive landscape
Excellent writing and presentation skills
Solid technical literacy with excellent ability to translate deeply technical understanding for less technical audiences
Fast learner with the ability to understand new technologies and process changes
Experience integrating messaging from top of funnel through renewal
Proven track record of developing integrated content marketing programs driving pipeline results
The ability to link market trends, buyer needs, and value propositions, to deliver compelling storytelling
Deep analytical thinking expertise and experience in data-driven marketing
Strong strategic planning, project management, and organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years in Technical Marketing or a Cybersecurity SME role
5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or related field; preferably in SaaS, Operations or Services
Prior experience in highly collaborative role with demonstrated ability to create effective working relationships
