Job Description:
Our client is hiring a highly skilled dynamic ServiceNow Developer/Integrator to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional who specializes in the ServiceNow platform, with a significant focus on portal development and integration. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, and integrating ServiceNow applications to meet our business requirements. This is a remote position, offering a contract-to-hire opportunity with an initial duration of 6 months. The candidate will play a critical role in leveraging technology to solve mission-critical challenges, requiring a Public Trust clearance which will need to be acquired.
Responsibilities:- Develop and configure the ServiceNow application, including report development and data migration, with a strong emphasis on API connections and third-party integrations.
- Perform custom development within ServiceNow as required, alongside unit-testing and defect resolution activities.
- Manage the migration of changes to the production environment, ensuring smooth deployment of new features and updates.
- Assist with technical design and documentation, ensuring all solutions meet internal standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions in ServiceNow that support comprehensive business requirements.
- Lead, coach, and mentor team members, enhancing their ServiceNow skills and promoting best practices within the team.
- Drive integration efforts, focusing on ODBC/JDBC Integration and integrations via MID server, to ensure seamless connectivity between ServiceNow and other infrastructure components.
- Engage in platform development and custom app development, pushing the boundaries of what is possible within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical software development experience, with at least 2 years in ServiceNow or other low-code platforms.
- Strong JavaScript coding/development skills within ServiceNow environments, preferably in IT Service Management, Field Service Management, and/or Enterprise Asset Management modules.
- Proven experience with ServiceNow administration, capable of designing, building, and customizing ServiceNow applications and services.
- ServiceNow System Admin certification required (admin or higher).
- Experience using SCRUM/Agile development methodologies.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including scripting (JavaScript), UI policies, business rules, and client scripts.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to lead, coach, and mentor team members.
- Must be eligible to acquire Public Trust clearance.
