Sr. Manager, Strategic Alliances, New Ventures & Services

We are now looking for a Sr. Manager, Strategic Alliances for our New Ventures & Services global group.


New Ventures and Services unit seizes significant growth opportunities in emerging sectors such as textile fibers and battery products. This unit enhances our marketing intelligence and spearhead the development of digital solutions for both new and existing customers.


This role can be located anywhere in North America or Europe, in countries in which Kemira operates, ideally situated near one of Kemira’s main offices.


In this role you will be responsible for:

Partnership Identification & Evaluation:

  • Identify and evaluate potential external partners that align with Kemira's strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with Business Managers, New Technology Platforms and Regional Commercial teams to assess fit and potential value

Partnership Management & Coordination:

  • Lead the coordination and due diligence of partnership opportunities, working cross-functionally with Business Managers, R&I, Commercial and Legal
  • Manage and track the progress of partnership engagements, ensuring alignment with Kemira’s strategic goals

Opportunity Structuring & Negotiation:

  • Structure, negotiate, and execute alliances, ensuring Kemira interests are met
  • Lead negotiations with external partners, ensuring opportunities are aligned with business goals

Network Development & Opportunity Sourcing:

  • Develop and maintain networks to source new opportunities, focusing on innovation and emerging market trends
  • Represent Kemira at key industry events to strengthen relationships and expand the partnership pipeline


What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Undergraduate degree in a related technical field, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate development, M&A and partnerships, or a similar role
  • Strong strategic thinking with entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken communications)
  • High level of ethics and compliance
  • Ability to freely travel internationally
