Remote Experian Project Manager - 1 Year Contract - PMP

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Experian Project Manager to lead the implementation and integration of Experian Applications within the Epic EHR program. This remote contract position offers the chance to collaborate with a dedicated team while reporting to the EHR Program Management Office (PMO) Program Director and EHR PMO Manager. Join us in enhancing healthcare delivery through innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the EHR Program Director, EHR PMO Manager, Application Manager, and other project managers to orchestrate project activities.
• Take direction from the Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities (DSOHF) Revenue Operations Director and the Office of the Controller Accounts Receivable (CBO) to configure Revenue Cycle systems per their requirements.
• Ensure effective coordination between NCDHHS and various IT departments, including the Office of the State Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the DIT/Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO).
• Oversee the implementation of the complete Experian Health Products Suite, including Claim Source, Real Time Eligibility, Real Time Authorization, Notice of Admission, OneSource, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of privacy regulations, including The Privacy Act, Freedom of Information Act, and HIPAA law.
• Demonstrate expertise in revenue cycle billing, professional billing, and claims processing operations within behavioral health settings.
• Lead the development and maintenance of integrated project plans in alignment with State and NCDHHS IT project management methodology using Microsoft Project and MS SharePoint.
• Organize resources, identify issues and risks, and ensure effective resolution and documentation.
• Guide workflow design, system build, and testing while acting as a liaison between organizational needs and vendor staff.
• Regularly communicate project statuses and deliverables to leadership and facilitate stakeholder support throughout the project lifecycle.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficient in the full Experian Health Products Suite.
• Strong understanding of privacy regulations and CMS Inpatient Psychiatric Facility regulations.
• Extensive experience in revenue cycle billing and claims processing operations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project and MS SharePoint for project management.
• Excellent conflict resolution, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years of experience in EHR revenue cycle billing, hospital billing, and claims processing.
• At least five years of experience in Health IT interoperability.
• Proven experience with Experian Health, Change Healthcare, or Relay Health.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
