About the role

Reporting to the CPD Operations Manager, you will manage, promote, and evaluate the RACGP Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program. You will oversee the CPD program in Tasmania and be the key contact internal RACGP CPD Representatives, support GPs in meeting their CPD requirements and engage internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery of the CPD standards. The role collaborates with internal and external providers, state faculties, and national teams.

As our CPD Program Coordinator, you'll also:

  • Coordinate the development, implementation, promotion, and evaluation of the RACGP CPD Program, ensuring compliance with CPD standards and quality assurance processes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external CPD providers, offering training, guidance, and support to ensure program success.
  • Support GPs in meeting their CPD requirements by contributing to the development of resources, and the provision of guidance and tailored solutions aligned with the CPD framework.
  • Facilitate CPD Representative training and provider activity adjudication
  • Lead and participate in national CPD working groups, team meetings, and strategic planning initiatives, contributing to program improvement and innovation.


Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of CPD, quality assurance, and adult learning principles.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven program coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
