Job Overview

TIG Risk Services, a reputable national investigative firm headquartered in Destin, Florida, is actively seeking a licensed Private Investigator in the Merced area. With over 23 years of dedicated service to the insurance, government, and legal sectors, we specialize in conducting surveillance and thorough investigations on workers’ compensation, auto liability, general liability, and both long and short-term disability claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform surveillance operations related to various claims types.
  • Conduct scene inspections and gather statements as necessary.
  • Produce comprehensive reports detailing findings and observations.
  • Utilize surveillance equipment effectively in diverse environments.
  • Uphold professionalism and confidentiality throughout all investigative activities.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of two years of surveillance experience.
  • Familiarity with Special Investigations Unit (SIU) operations, including statement gathering and scene assessments.
  • Exceptional report writing and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to conduct both stationary and mobile surveillance in a variety of settings, including high-crime areas.
  • Proficiency in executing pretext investigations with confidence.

Qualifications

  • Valid Private Investigator License in California.
  • Proven experience in surveillance and investigative roles.
  • Strong analytical and observational abilities.
