Job Overview

We are actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Private Investigator in the San Jose area, specializing in surveillance work related to worker’s compensation, auto liability, general liability, and both long and short-term disability claims. This role offers a competitive starting salary of $40+/hr.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct surveillance for worker’s compensation, auto liability, general liability, and disability claims.
  • Perform activity checks and comprehensive background investigations.
  • Take statements and execute scene inspections as required.
  • Compile detailed reports on investigative findings.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of two years of surveillance experience.
  • Familiarity with Special Investigations Unit (SIU) functions, including statement-taking and scene inspections.
  • Proficient report writing capabilities and strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct both stationary and mobile surveillance in diverse environments, including high-crime areas.
  • Comfort with pretext investigations.

Qualifications

  • An active Private Investigator License in California is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in surveillance and investigative work is essential.
