The Role


We're seeking a dynamic leader to revolutionize our video editing team through expert training, mentorship, and technical innovation. As our Post-Production Training Manager, you’ll help us recruit new editors and empower our current editors to create exceptional content while building a culture of continuous learning and excellence.


What You'll Do


  • Architect and deliver cutting-edge training programs that keep our editing team ahead of industry curves
  • Scout and nurture top editing talent, from recruitment through career development
  • Vet applications and do the initial interviews for incoming video editing talent
  • Drive workflow innovation by implementing AI tools and automation that boost team efficiency
  • Provide technical leadership across our toolkit: Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Autopod, Eleven Labs, and Descript
  • Coach editors one-on-one to unlock their full creative potential

  • Editors completing projects faster with fewer revisions
  • Team members consistently mastering new skills and tools
  • Streamlined workflows that maximize creativity while minimizing technical hurdles
  • A collaborative environment where editors feel supported and challenged to grow
  • Keeping up with our hiring demands but vetting and interviewing incoming talent


Requirements


  • Deep expertise in video editing with 4+ years of hands-on experience
  • 2+ years leading post-production teams
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects
  • A teacher's patience combined with a problem-solver's mindset
  • Passion for staying current with emerging video technologies and AI tools


Salary: $1,300 - $1,500 a month depending on experience.


This role reports to the Director of Customer Success and offers the opportunity to shape the future of video content creation at a rapidly growing media company.
