The Job:

The Customer Service Representative will embrace TCI’s values of innovation, collaboration, productivity, life-long learning, and community. These values will be demonstrated through:

  • Assisting returning customers with their purchasing decisions by providing information on their past purchases. 
  • Providing samples and quotes for customers to help them with their district purchasing process.
  • Quality checking orders that have been entered to ensure quality throughout the order and provisioning process.
  • Collaborating with the team to resolve order-related issues.
  • Assisting new and returning customers with resolving their online access related issues.
  • Working with remote teams and vendors across the US to achieve time-sensitive goals to support districts, schools, and teachers throughout the busy back-to-school season.

Requirements
What You Should Know or Need to Apply:
  • Work hours: 8:00AM to 5:00 PM PST or 9:00AM to 6:00PM PST
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent required
  • Ability to clearly explain complex issues, actively listen to customer concerns, and convey solutions in a professional, concise, and empathetic manner.
  • A keen eye for detail in identifying the root cause of customer issues, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring accurate resolutions.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and stay organized, especially when handling multiple projects or urgent requests.
  • Experience using spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) and handling data.
  • Classroom teaching experience.

Salary Range ($34.50 to 36.50/hour)

For this position, TCI is hiring in the following states only: CA, HI, OR, WA


We are hiring in CA, HI, OR, WA.  The pay range for this position is between $34.50 and $36.50 annually. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related experience, skills and location. TCI offers medical, dental, vision, 401k benefits, PTO and bonus eligibility.
