As a Senior Product Manager, you will leverage your deep knowledge of product management to guide teams in developing intuitive, easy to use, highly functional software. You will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders from business analysts, development, quality assurance, customer service, sales, and marketing.
What You’ll Do With Us
- Work cross-functionally with customers, executives, stakeholders, and engineering teams to define the product vision and strategy
- Create, execute on, and be accountable to strategic roadmaps
- Drive market analysis, recognize market trends, perform competitive analysis, lead customer discovery activities, and develop business cases to identify new initiatives
- Define features and requirements that fulfill initiatives and drive our strategic vision as defined in our roadmaps
- Prioritize initiatives, features, and development to deliver growth and the highest amount of value to our customers
- Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes to inform user experience and user interface design requirements
- Formulate and measure product analysis to ensure ongoing product performance and customer satisfaction
- Engage and participate in strategic customer briefings, industry events, and industry analyst communication
- Work closely with our engineering team to incorporate technical feedback early and often
- Drive a lean and agile development process; define meaningful sprint cycles, and run consistent date-driven experiments
- Define and own the measurable success metrics and key results for your initiatives; prioritize product development against those metrics
- Participate in business development activities, supporting the development of proposals, sprint timelines, resource forecasts, and interactive demos
Who You Are
- Prior experience managing and/or bringing new enterprise software applications to market
- Technical aptitude and experience managing software APIs and system integrations; SQL knowledge is a plus
- Curiosity for learning and discovering new ways of doing things
- Vision for developing software around outcomes, not features
- Ability to prioritize between bugs, features
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to see both the forest and the trees: you are detail-oriented, and can also cast a big picture vision
- Collaborative approach to problem solving and execution
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams through discussions and workshops
- Prior experience utilizing product management tools such as Jira and Aha!
- Prior experience with state and local government or education customers is a plus
- Prior experience with understanding and interpretation of legislative and regulatory is a nice to have
What We Offer
- The ability to work from anywhere in the US, with approximately 10% travel
- Compensation for this role includes a base salary between $110,000-130,000
