Anchorage Digital is seeking a program-level BSA/AML and OFAC compliance professional with a strong data analysis background. As a Member of Compliance, Financial Crimes Compliance (“FCC”) Program, you will have the opportunity to support the design and implementation of BSA/AML and OFAC compliance programs across all applicable Anchorage Digital legal entities. You will work closely with all FCC teams to develop a holistic understanding of risks, controls, and other procedures within each compliance program pillar. You will also have the opportunity to engage deeply with transaction and client data, uncovering patterns and building insights to support the Data & Analytics Lead in developing FCC models and data tools.
Technical Skills:Develop or enhance policies and procedures across multiple Anchorage Digital legal entity compliance programs including custody and trading.Contribute to the design, development, and automation of controls, processes, and dashboards to improve compliance monitoring and reporting.Complexity and Impact of Work:Participate in producing BSA/AML and OFAC Risk Assessments as well as Transaction Monitoring Coverage Assessments.Support the implementation and enhancement of BSA/AML models, including transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, customer risk rating, blockchain analytics, and other relevant BSA/AML tools.Contribute to management information reporting to the BSA Officer, risk oversight committees, and the Board of Directors.Organizational Knowledge:Collaborate cross-functionally to implement and improve tools and processes within the Compliance department.Leverage understanding of Anchorage Digital business lines to establish effective control structures.Communication and InfluenceConduct ad hoc analyses and generate regular compliance reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.Assist with tracking open FCC issues and remediation activities, as needed.You may be a fit for this role if you have: Understanding of BSA/AML and OFAC risk and control frameworks, regulatory requirements and general FATF guidance.Prior experience in BSA/AML and/or OFAC data analytics, risk assessments, and coverage assessments.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize demanding workflows, detailed-oriented, and well organized.Intermediate knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets functions.Ability to take ownership, work independently, and yet still be team-oriented.Although not a requirement, bonus points if: Prior experience assisting regulated financial institutions resolve regulatory concernsPrior experience with SQL or Python, or advanced knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets functions.You were emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system. :)About Anchorage Digital: Who we are
