Job description

🚀We are looking for a seasoned Brand Director to spearhead the strategy and execution of brand positioning across global markets. In this critical leadership role, you will drive product-focused brand development and expand recognition in emerging regions. The ideal candidate will bring extensive telecommunications industry expertise, a proven track record in managing mobile phone brands, and a deep understanding of global marketing dynamics.

Location: Multiple locations


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to strengthen our positioning in international markets, with an emphasis on product-led growth.
  • Lead a team of 30+ professionals, including 10 internationally based members, fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Identify and seize opportunities to expand brand presence in emerging regions such as Southeast Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
  • Partner closely with product teams to ensure brand strategies align with product development and market demands.
  • Build and maintain relationships with regional stakeholders to enhance brand recognition and influence.
  • Create and execute strategic marketing and communication plans in line with global objectives.
  • Deliver regular updates and insights to senior leadership, including the Head of the Overseas Brand Department and the CEO of the Terminal Division.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, particularly with mobile phone or smart electronic consumer products.
    • Demonstrated success in managing mobile phone brands at major global companies.
    • Deep understanding of the telecommunications and consumer electronics sectors, with a strategic perspective on global and regional markets.
    • Advanced expertise in strategic marketing, brand management, and cross-cultural communication.
    • Proven ability to lead at a senior level, managing large and diverse teams effectively.
    • Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential for seamless communication and collaboration.
