Legend Biotech is seeking Associate Director or Senior Manager Scientific Communications as part of the Medical Affairs team based Remote. 

Role Overview

Legend Biotech is seeking a Scientific Communications Manager (Sr) / Associate Director to support scientific content creation for our lead BCMA CAR-T asset to ensure content is aligned with strategic objectives and key milestones. Critical to this role is the ability to interpret and summarize data and work closely with internal cross functional team members and external collaborators. Responsibilities encompass supporting the publication development, review and approval process as well as supporting development of internal, training, and external medical resources such as slide presentations and Q&As. The successful candidate will be well-organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize. In addition, excellent computer skills, efficient communication skills, and the ability to exercise flexibility and sensitivity are key characteristics. Prior experience in a science/pharma/biotech environment, particularly, within Scientific Communications and experience within Hematology/Oncology and CAR-T therapies, is preferred.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Scientific Communications Lead and other Medical Affairs team members to align on communication strategy, content, timing and tactics.
  • Support:
    • Publication development, including publication review (within the Legend Publications System) as well as manage the external and internal review and approval process for publications
    • Medical resource development including internal educational resources and training materials including Q&As, slide presentations, Scientific Statements Platform, etc.
    • Reactive slide presentation development for Medical Affairs personnel
    • Managing the training initiatives and content development for new and ongoing learning opportunities for Medical Affairs personnel
    • Managing the reference repository
  • Collaborate with broader medical team for congress preparation
  • Liaise with and manage agency partners
  • Contribute to tracking project deliverables, maintaining budgets and forecasting
  • Assist team in planning and execution of internal stakeholder meetings for Medical Affairs and other cross-functional meetings 
Requirements
  •  Science background: Hem-Oncology/Cell Therapy and Scientific Communications experience (~5 years) is preferred.
