Job Title: Corporate Communication Specialist
Location: Remote but must be commuting distance to Milwaukee for local support.
What you will do:
Provide critical communications support for a fast-paced, highly productive Corporate Communication team. Implement communication plans with the direction of a team of consultants. Provide counsel to system leaders on internal communication tactics with development of some communication plans independently. Help produce feature stories, videos and special events and meetings for leader and team member audiences. Monitor communications calendar and be responsible for maintaining current and fresh messaging in key channels. Regularly publish intranet content and facilitate engagement on the intranet platform. Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for system communication needs.
What you will need:
Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, communications or related field.
Three to five years of public relations or marketing communications experience required, with demonstrated experience in writing, editing, and working with vendors.
Experience in writing for a variety of audiences in varying styles.
Well organized and able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with a minimum of direction.
Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with the public including staff members, employees, Children's leaders, news media representatives, clients and the general public.
Good judgment and organizational ability to prioritize workload. Able to meet daily demands and deadlines, as well as respond to urgent situations.
Experienced in the use of Windows and Microsoft Office.
Interpersonal skills necessary to speak effectively to individuals and groups as a representative of CHHS.
