Job description

Job Summary:

You will be delivering DRAMS system implementation projects and software consultancy services within the distilled spirits market sector.

You will also contribute to discussions regarding the product roadmap for DRAMS, using your ongoing engagement with clients and prospects to inform decisions regarding future product direction.

Job Description:

Location: Aberdeen (Hybrid) / Scotland (Remote)

Full Time: 5 days/week

Pay: £35,000 - £43,000 per annum depending on skills and experience

What will I be doing day-to-day?

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys learning new skills, developing their technical knowledge and delivering high quality projects. This is a varied role covering pre-sales consultancy and account management activity, and the delivery of software implementation services. It includes:

  • Engaging with prospective customers within the distilled spirits market sector throughout the DRAMS sales cycle (including holding demonstrations to prospective customers).

  • Delivery of DRAMS system implementation projects and software consultancy services to DRAMS customers.

  • Engage with the Sales & Marketing team to help promote the DRAMS product and service offering to prospective clients.

  • Work in partnership with clients; analysing their requirements and advising them on how to use DRAMS products to meet their business objectives.

  • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation in line with requirements and expectation.

  • Deliver DRAMS product training to our clients.

  • Ensure the successful delivery of the solution to meet the agreed timelines and quality.

  • Participate in project debriefs to ensure lessons learned are carried forward to future projects.

  • Travel as required (50%) throughout the UK and internationally to fully meet the requirements of the role.

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in an IT or IT related discipline e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology or Business and IT, with strong academic results

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hands on implementation role, with particular focus on experience of delivering software implementation, configuration and training.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with all levels of customers and staff

  • Resourceful personality, confident manner and a willingness and ability to learn new skills

  • Technically able with a keen business and commercial awareness

  • Customer centric, capable of building strong client relationships

  • A problem solver; strongly analytical, with an eye for detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • An organised, disciplined approach to work with excellent time management skills and the ability to deal with multiple activities in parallel

  • A current valid driving licence

  • A willingness and ability to travel nationally / internationally (50%)

  • Currently holds independent right to work in the UK

It’s not a deal breaker but we would really like it if you also had:

  • Knowledge of the distilled spirits industry would be a distinct advantage

  • Knowledge or experience of Warehousing & Logistics

  • A recognised project management qualification
