Job description

About the role
The Senior Salesforce Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing the Salesforce platform to support smooth business operations and improve data-driven decision-making across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. This role involves working closely with these cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implementing solutions that enhance business performance.


A successful candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce and best practices, strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of business operations, and the ability to communicate insights to stakeholders at all levels.This is a unique opportunity to build something from an early stage, thus  you will play a critical role ensuring that Simetrik’s teams have the technology, tools and resources they need to succeed. This position reports to the Director of Revenue Operations, is based remotely, has flexibility but accepts availability on US & Brazilian time zones only.


Responsibilities

  • Strategic vision: Ability to build systems architecture with eye towards future scale but flexibility to solve current state business requirements
  • Salesforce Administration: Manage user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, Flows, workflows, process builder, and other Salesforce configurations.
  • System Integration: Work closely with stakeholders to implement and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other business systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. This includes Gong, Outreach, Apollo, Clari, Sales Navigator, and HubSpot.
  • Quote to Cash understanding: Implement complex product and pricing strategies in Salesforce CPQ, and simplify existing CPQ structure
  • Data Management and Quality: Perform data imports, exports, data cleansing, and data quality assessments to maintain data integrity within Salesforce. Manage duplicate Leads, Contacts, and Accounts, and perform mass uploads and updates of data as required. Remove unnecessary fields and data, ensuring screens, fields and workflow have accurate names and reflect current workflow
  • Reporting and Analytics: Partner with the business stakeholders to develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes and forecasting. Create audited, official source-of-truth reporting for business performance, and remove outdated reports.
    • Comfortable writing test scripts (manual and automated) and conducting (manual and automated) regression testing, integration testing, smoke testing, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with key business stakeholders.
  • Project Management and Documentation: Lead Salesforce projects end-to-end with full ownership of the project, working with the relevant teams to develop clear definitions and design requirements, then on to implementation, testing, and release to production, always keeping the relevant teams in the loop. Create and maintain system documentation, including process flows, technical specifications, and training materials.
  • Other System Administration: Perform basic administration responsibilities for key GTM systems (Gong, Outreach) like user management, troubleshooting, and configuration as aligned with GTM needs.


Qualifications

  • Fluent in English AND Spanish or Portuguese
  • Proven experience (4+ years) as a Salesforce Administrator, including experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) is required; additional certifications such as Advanced Administrator (ADM 301), Platform AppBuilder, CPQ or Service Cloud are a plus.
  • Hands-on writing Salesforce Validation, Workflow, lightning pages, Flows with focus on UX and scalability.
  • Database and data analysis in SQL are not mandatory but a great plus.
  • Expertise in translating business requirements into technical/software requirements, process modeling, and data mapping
  • Strong technical skills in Salesforce configuration, customization, and data management.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations, APIs, and data migration tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred.
