Rhombus is looking for a Strategic SLED Account Executive who will lead initiatives to enhance physical security for key education and government clients. By leveraging cutting-edge technology solutions, you’ll help guide these organizations towards a modernized and proactive approach to security, optimizing their operational efficiency. The ideal candidate embodies a self-driven and tenacious spirit, with a willingness to proactively engage in prospecting activities, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities to sustain individual sales funnels. You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Engineering and Product teams to position yourself as a Rhombus subject matter expert.
What You'll DoDrive the full sales cycle for SLED business opportunities, including prospecting, outreach, product demos, trials, and strategic negotiationsBuild and maintain relationships across diverse roles within education and government organizations to influence long-term strategic direction as a valued business partnerAct as a subject matter expert on Rhombus cameras and software, collaborating closely with Marketing, Engineering, and Product teamsStay updated on Rhombus' product offerings, hardware, and features to effectively communicate their value to clientsUnderstand clients' physical security usage, modernization plans, technology strategies, and long-term goalsFoster relationships with Channel Managers and Partners to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the territoryDrive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals, guiding customers through the entire business cycleWhat We're Looking For5+ years of B2B sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding sales quotasProven ability to manage competitive and strategic sales efforts within the SLED/Public SectorExcellent communication and presentation skills when working with peers, customers, and partnersProficient in strategic outbound prospecting with a focus on business development through channelExperience with tools such as Salesforce, Apollo, Chili Piper, Zoom, and Dialpad is a plusStrong team collaboration skills with internal cross-functional departmentsOpen to travel for client engagements, such as meetings and events, and team gatheringsThis is a remote position.

Compensation
Base Salary: $95,000-$125,000
Estimated OTE (base salary + commission): $190,000-$250,000
Additional forms of compensation, depending on the role, include uncapped commission, sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity in the company. Individual pay is determined based on the candidate's primary work/hiring location and additional factors, such as skills and experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training.
