Job Title: Technology and Operations - UX Designer II
Contract Duration: ~6-months with Possibility For Extension / Conversion

We are on the hunt for a skilled UX/UI Designer who thrives at the intersection of design and development to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will use both innovative design and technical expertise to enhance user experiences and engagements across our digital platforms.
 
Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role
•            Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
•            Develop functional and appealing interfaces for applications based on usability.
•            Combine UX thinking with design execution, to produce usable and intuitive user interfaces.
•            Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to refine and iterate on design solutions and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
•            Convert designs to interactive prototypes using front-end languages in Figma, HTML, CSS, or other tools.
•            Consider speed and scalability while maintaining responsive design.
•            Perform user testing and resolve any UX issues or bugs reported in existing product releases.
•            Implement, maintain, and enhance design guidelines and document implementation requirements.
 
Must Have Skills / Requirements
1)           Portfolio Requirements.
a.           Want to see creativity and good design skills within.
2)           Ability to understand and relate to user’s needs.
a.           User friendly design examples.
3)           Understanding usability principals.
a.           Ability to research and design interface to be inclusive and easy to understand.
 
Soft Skills/Preferred Background
1)           Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
2)           Strong portfolio that demonstrates a deep visual awareness, experience in creating wireframes, and usability patterns.
3)           Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to design and technology challenges.
4)           Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
5)           Comfortable working across multiple applications
