ABOUT THE ROLE:

Whether you're in the heart of the Baltics or anywhere else, you'll join forces with dedicated professionals in the FinTech, working on exciting projects within a global, multi-cultural, ever-developing, and successful business that aims to improve financial services for families, small businesses, multinational corporations, and non-profit organizations

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Oversee and approve daily and monthly manual entries in the financial system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review and validate supporting documentation for Balance Sheet accounts for consistency and adherence to standards.
• Conduct testing of new settlement systems to confirm functionality and alignment with business needs.
• Manage the transition from legacy systems to new settlement platforms, ensuring seamless implementation and minimal disruption.
• Investigate and resolve post-implementation issues in settlement processes to maintain operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and implement enhancements to optimize functionality and efficiency.
• Oversee intercompany accounts, including balance and invoice reconciliation.
• Perform detailed reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to ensure financial accuracy and reliability.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

• Proven experience in financial systems management, accounting, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with settlement systems, including testing, transition, and post-Go-Live support.
• Experience in intercompany accounts management and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in financial system operations, including data entry, account reconciliation, and balance sheet analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, settlement systems, and account management.
• Experience in identifying and implementing system improvements.

WHAT WE OFFER:

It is a contract based role: 20 - 30 eur/hour (the given range is flexible and depends on your experience).
