Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Manager, Solution Consulting in Dallas, TX:

Job Duties: Lead a team of solution architects managing employee performance, career journeys, and administrative tasks as a people manager. Lead a work stream in complex enterprise customer engagements, partnering with key collaborators to drive vision achievement, while completing key deliverables. Serve as hands-on advisor on solution and technical knowledge, Salesforce product knowledge, industry experience, consulting experience, and knowledge of the client’s business to deliver customer ROI. Lead vision execution with the customer and obtain customer acceptance and drive difficult conversations and remove roadblocks to implement business strategies.  Analyze issues and obstacles to determine root cause and identify appropriate corrective action. Interact with technical and business partners, customer product owners, business process owners and technical resources to understand requirements, analyze information, and design comprehensive solutions. Responsible for leading a team of individual contributors and ensuring team members are meeting specific and measurable goals from their V2MoMs and Individual Development plans driving our High-Performance Culture. Lean into the teams’ project challenges and help resolve issues or escalate appropriately, and hold regular check-ins with their team members, provide and receive feedback as ongoing development to meet the needs of delivery roles and deliver high impact work in a way that is aligned to our values. Understand responsibility to manage revenue and margin levers to ensure overall OU success. Engage with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure the solutions are driving the most effective achievement of the value objectives and contribute to thought leadership and standard. Hire, fire, supervise direct staff and their work product, and manage team to assign appropriate tasks to meet deadlines and team goals. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Salesforce configuration for multiple clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud); (2) Analytics - Reports and Dashboard (PowerBI, Tableau); (3) Business Process Design; (4) User Story development; (5) Product Features Roadmap planning; (6) SQL; (7) Agile practices - Scrum, Kanban and SAFE; (8) Agile tools - Rally, Jira and iTrack; (9) API integrations with back office systems; (10) SDLC and Waterfall; and (11) Java. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
