Position Summary:
Is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive labor cost efficiencies across our organization. This role will focus on creating and implementing labor models, reducing overtime expenses, minimizing reliance on contract labor, and achieving a targeted hourly labor percentage to revenue. This position will be pivotal in designing tools, processes, and best practices that support optimal labor utilization, optimization, and capacity planning, ensuring sustainable and effective workforce management.
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop Labor Strategies: Create and implement initiatives to achieve labor cost efficiencies, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals for labor spending.
•Implement Labor Models: Design and execute staffing models that balance productivity and cost-effectiveness across different departments.
•Manage Overtime: Develop strategies to reduce overtime costs by introducing scheduling tools, training, and best practices that ensure efficient use of regular working hours.
•Reduce Contract Labor: Identify opportunities to reduce reliance on contract labor by establishing sustainable full-time and part-time staffing solutions.
•Analyze Labor Costs: Regularly monitor and analyze labor expenses to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities, working toward achieving an optimal total hourly labor cost-to-revenue ratio.
•Develop Tools & Resources: Create and maintain tools that help monitor, forecast, and control labor expenses across all locations.
•Provide Reporting & Analytics: Deliver regular reports to leadership on labor costs, overtime, contract labor usage, and progress toward achieving cost-saving goals.
•Train & Educate Teams: Collaborate with department managers to provide training on labor optimization techniques, scheduling best practices, and tools that support workforce efficiency.
•Collaborate Across Departments: Partner with HR, Finance, and department leaders to implement labor strategies effectively, ensuring consistency and understanding throughout the organization.
