JOB OVERVIEW

The RCM Technical Account Manager (RCM TAM) is the primary technical and operational point of contact for Net Health's billing clients, ensuring the seamless integration and adoption of our revenue cycle solutions. RCM processes and SaaS technology expertise will drive client satisfaction, product utilization, and long-term success. Designs appropriate workplans to assure client concerns. Pulls data analytics reports to understand the health of the client. Consults with other team members (project management/client services/support) to ensure mutual client objectives are met. Works closely with the Sales Account Management Team to deliver client programs. Understands how the products supported by the Business Unit are constructed to strategically align client concerns.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Engagement and Support
    • Act as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams, including implementation, support, and product teams.
    • Provide technical guidance and best practices for optimizing RCM workflows using our SaaS platform.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in healthcare organizations, including billing managers, financial officers, and IT teams.
  • Onboarding and Implementation
    • Lead and support the implementation of RCM solutions, ensuring integrations with existing healthcare systems (e.g., EHR/EMR, billing systems).
    • Facilitate training sessions for clients on the features and functionalities of the platform.
    • Develop detailed implementation plans tailored to client workflows and goals.
  • Technical Account Management
    • Conduct regular health checks and reviews to ensure clients fully utilize the platform's capabilities.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to RCM functionality in collaboration with support and engineering teams.
    • Provide proactive recommendations for enhancing RCM operations based on analytics and platform insights.
  • RCM Expertise and Consultation
    • Leverage deep knowledge of revenue cycle management to advise clients on process improvements.
    • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and compliance requirements to provide actionable guidance to clients.
    • Assist clients in optimizing claims processing, payment reconciliation, and denial management workflows.
  • Revenue Growth and Retention
    • Partner with the account management team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities for additional SaaS products or services.
    • Track client success metrics and advocate for their needs within the organization to ensure retention and satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with sales and product teams to support renewals and account expansion strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, SaaS customer success, or technical account management in the healthcare industry.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes, including claims, billing, collections, and payment reconciliation.
    • Experience with SaaS platforms, particularly those focused on healthcare or RCM.
    • Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and healthcare integrations.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on client success.
  • Soft Skills
    • A proactive and consultative mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and a customer-first attitude.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
    • Organizational Change Management
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Certifications in RCM or healthcare IT (e.g., CRCP, HFMA, or HIT certifications).
    • Experience with value-based care models and healthcare payment reform.
    • Prior experience in a start-up or SaaS environment.
  • Travel up to 25%

REQUIRED SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of Excel, BI and SQL
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and project management platforms (e.g., Jira, Asana, CloudCoach).
