Job description

Roche fosters diversity, equity and inclusion, representing the communities we serve. When dealing with healthcare on a global scale, diversity is an essential ingredient to success. We believe that inclusion is key to understanding people’s varied healthcare needs. Together, we embrace individuality and share a passion for exceptional care. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

The Position

A healthier future. It’s what drives us to innovate. To continuously advance science and ensure everyone has access to the healthcare they need today and for generations to come. Creating a world where we all have more time with the people we love.

That’s what makes us Roche.

ASPIRE is a Roche-wide, enterprise business transformation program that aims at harmonising, simplifying and automating business processes to enable us to focus our efforts even more on doing now what patients need next.

Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) was adopted for ASPIRE to design and execute incremental builds with fast, integrated learning cycles, by applying the same cadence with cross-functional planning and decentralizing decision making, enabling us to further accelerate agility.

The Opportunity

  • Collaborate with operational teams, data owners, and other partners to ensure understanding and alignment of end-to-end (E2E) data governance processes, ensuring consistency, uniformity, and accuracy across all systems.

  • Work with cross-divisional teams to reduce master data defects and develop processes that minimize non-value-added work, contributing to the definition of vision and strategy for Master Data Governance.

  • Meet business goals by ensuring products and solutions meet economic business objectives, collaborating with Release Train Engineers and Solution Train Engineers to build required functionality.

  • Ensure solutions are effectively deployed to internal customers and users, supporting and enhancing the product functionalities to create continuous value flow.

  • Manage Agile Release Train Program Backlog, prioritizing based on value in alignment with the Solution Backlog, and own the product vision and roadmap while managing continuous exploration to understand new needs.

  • Convert business requirements into features for Agile Teams, ensuring features are clear, complete, distinct, and without contradictions, and manage changes to feature requirements ensuring business value for every feature.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of SAP MDG and SAP S4 systems, master data processes with a focus on Finance Data, and possess a deep understanding of finance business processes and their interdependencies with the master data framework.

Who you are

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, really passionate about his or her job and understands that providing a high-quality service is crucial for the organization. As an ideal team member you are open-minded, dedicated to make a difference and open to constant development.

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, with over 7 years of functional and strategic master data management experience, ideally in the Finance function.

  • Over 3 years of experience in senior-level data governance practices and with Enterprise Applications (such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Reltio) across multiple business units.

  • Understanding the impact of governance on business process management and IT, and experience dealing with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations specific to Finance data.

  • Having Strong interpersonal, communication, and networking skills, with the ability to interact positively with all levels of management and effectively communicate problems to appropriate teams within the organization.

  • Possessing Agile mindset and experience working in or with Agile Organizations, with a background in consulting or business management services considered a strong plus, and a strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and the ability to make decisions in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.

In exchange we provide you with
