As an Intermediate Strategic Project Manager at Matomo, you will play a critical role in driving the successful delivery of global projects. Reporting to the COO and Head of People & Culture while supporting the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standard. You’ll take ownership of driving accountability across teams, ensuring everyone understands their responsibilities and commitments to project success. Roles and Responsibilities 🚀
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver global projects, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scopes, timelines, deliverables, resource allocation, and dependencies.
- Foster a culture of accountability by clearly defining roles, expectations, and deliverables for all team members.
- Drive project disciplines, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and delivery milestones.
- Regularly review and refine project plans to adapt to shifting priorities or challenges, ensuring the team remains focused on outcomes.
- Monitor and report on project performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, risk logs, and stakeholder updates.
- Facilitate transparent communication across global teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
- Provide support to the SLT in aligning projects with the organisation’s strategic goals.
- Champion project management best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum qualifications 🤓
- Proven experience in project management, ideally in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
- A results-driven approach with the ability to foster and drive accountability across teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build strong relationships in a global team.
- A proactive problem-solver with the ability to navigate challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Familiarity with analytics or data-focused projects is an advantage.
