Position Summary:
The Data Engineer will design, build, implement, and maintain data processing pipelines for the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from a variety of data sources. The role will develop robust and scalable solutions that transform data into a useful format for analysis, enhance data flow, and enable end-users to consume and analyze data faster and easier.
Expected Duties:
- Data Engineers will be responsible for establishing database management systems, standards, guidelines, and quality assurance for deliverables, such as conceptual design, logical database, taxonomy, data storage and capacity planning, external data interface specification, data loading plan, data maintenance plan, and security policy
- Expected to perform conceptual design, capacity planning, interface specifications, data loading plan, maintenance, and security associated with data collection/organization
- Responsible for using and reviewing technical tools and programming that leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big-data techniques to lead by Sr. Role to cleanse, organize and transform data and to maintain, defend and update data structures and integrity on an automated basis
- Data Engineers will create and establishes design standards and assurance processes for software, systems, and applications development to ensure compatibility and operability of data connections, flows, and storage requirements
- The role will review internal and external business and product requirements for data operations and activity and suggest changes and upgrades to systems and storage to accommodate ongoing needs
- Responsible for assisting with user interface and business applications design; works with stakeholders to ensure database specifications, tables, and element attributes meet requirements
Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to determine a course of action based on guidelines and modifies processes and methods as required
- Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships to resolve mutual problems by collaborating on procedures or transactions
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of related experience or equivalent work experience

Salary range of $94,500 - $133,400. [It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.] The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law including geographical location.
