As the Data Governance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive data governance framework that ensures our data assets are accurate, secure, and aligned with business objectives. Reporting directly to the Director of Data & Analytics, you will collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and data stewards to establish policies, standards, and methodologies that enhance data quality, foster data literacy, and empower informed decision-making across AJW Group.
What you’ll be doing
Develop and implement a tailored data governance framework, policies, and standards to meet organizational needs.
Partner with IT, business stakeholders, and data stewards to define and enforce data governance best practices.
Champion data governance concepts and foster a culture of data literacy across the organization.
Lead initiatives to improve data quality and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Leverage data management and governance tools such as Collibra, data.world, or Purview to streamline governance processes.
Integrate governance processes into modern cloud data stacks, including Snowflake, Azure, and DBT.
Design and deliver training programs to enhance understanding of data governance and its value.
Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to optimize data usage.
