As a Financial Systems Analyst on the Financial Systems team, you will serve as a vital link between various Fullsteam departments and financial systems, driving system enhancements and supporting process optimization. You will help with the daily administration of key financial systems, including NetSuite and other systems, ensuring they are structured to meet internal control requirements and best practices. Your expertise will be pivotal in implementing new features, troubleshooting system issues, and identifying automation opportunities that streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Be the go-to resource for financial systems and drive the implementation of additional features and functionality (e.g. implementation of new billing system)
• Set up and manage workflows to streamline data flows and ensure accuracy.
• Create custom reports and saved searches for users.
• Lead or assist in financial system projects to improve processes, including:
• Best practice implementation for financial system workflows and processes.
• NetSuite enhancements and integrations.
• Provide recommendations on improving processes, enhancing functionality and automation opportunities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve financial system tickets, addressing errors and issues promptly.
• Assist in the administration of NetSuite and other relevant tools.
• Work closely with internal users to identify system needs and propose effective solutions.
• Contributes to special project as needed to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Work directly with project stakeholders to align with business goals and objectives.

Skills & Competencies:

• Can identify inefficient processes, analyze workflows and propose solutions to enhance capabilities and efficiencies.
• Driven to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues expeditiously
• Well versed in GAAP Accounting and a knack for investigating and interpreting the guidance
• Owns the accuracy of data and compliance with internal controls
• Must be comfortable with dealing with and manipulating large data sets
• Strong understanding of financial system administration and control requirements, proficient in financial systems such as NetSuite and FloQast.
• Detail oriented and organized to manage projects and implement enhancements.
• Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities, taking ownership of assigned projects and deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Accounting Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial systems administration or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with financial systems such as NetSuite (e.g., workflows, enhancements) and automation experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.

Preferred:

• Experience in the financial tech industry, ideally in a company with significant mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong knowledge of the NetSuite ERP system and modules.
• Familiarity with FloQast, Workato, Brex, Tipaliti and other financial systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including working with large datasets, pivot tables, and macros.
• Certifications such as NetSuite Administrator or equivalent.
