To drive the initial engagement, tracking of application and onboarding of quality Registered Individuals (all as Restricted Financial Planners – RFPs) into Quilter Financial Advisers (QFA), the National Advice arm of Quilter PLC.
These advisers will be predominantly focused on Pension & Investment business, with a passion for strong client outcomes and a willingness to grow within the group.
The focus of the Search Consultant will be to support the Regional Director source and convert high quality recruits, ensuring the recruit journey meets the expectations set out by Quilter.
The Search Consultant will be responsible for supporting the adviser population growth across Quilter Financial Advisers. Working alongside the Regional Director, the Search Consultant will be tasked with identifying and contacting high quality financial planning individuals and introducing them to the Quilter Financial Advice proposition.
- Accountable for Identifying, contacting and nurturing appropriate prospective RIs to join QFA. You would be expected to utilise the full marketing mix in your prospecting activities from email campaigns, social media, direct mail, telephone calls and shadowing face to face meetings with the RD (where appropriate).
- You will be responsible for helping prospective RIs complete appropriate application paperwork, guiding them through the process whilst working collaboratively with the Membership team, ensuring that the recruitment journey is of the highest standard.
- You will be responsible for supporting new advisers in their production and development of a Business Plan that supports their application. This business plan will underpin their suitability for joining QFA.
- You will look to maintain a good relationship with all new recruits, gathering referrals where possible and ensuring that the brand image remains strong.
- You are responsible for maintaining and updating your recruitment data in the online CRM platform, Workable. This is where all your recruitment activity and prospect data will be held.
- You will ensure that you keep your knowledge of the marketplace up to date and share this with the wider recruitment team and other colleagues.
- You will develop a strong sense of team within the business and actively look for opportunities for cross collaboration within teams. This will relate to supporting colleagues in the Network model with RFPs and potentially any AR firms you come across.
- You will ensure you work compliantly, in partnership with Risk and Compliance
- You will support a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement, placing the customer experience front and centre.

About You
- Deep understanding of the way in which different types of adviser’s work, employed vs self-employed, bancassurance vs IFA.
- Good knowledge of Wealth businesses and how they operate.
- A track record of building relationships quickly and effectively.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced recruitment environment.
- Excellent ability to articulate a proposition and outline the benefits.
- Strong presentation skills required.
- Competent IT capabilities needed, use of LinkedIn, CRM system etc.
- A willingness to learn and develop your career.
