Insurance Verification Specialist (Contract) at Movn Health

As Movn’s Insurance Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient access to Movn Health's Virtual Cardiac Rehabilitation Program by verifying insurance coverage and eligibility for services. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac care, strong organizational skills, and an ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and insurance companies.

You will coordinate and process patient referrals with precision, detail and accuracy.

This includes:

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits for cardiac rehabilitation services.
• Ensure accurate determination and documentation of patient financial responsibility, including copays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket maximum
• Support the billing department by providing required documentation and verification details for claims submission.
• Resolving patient insurance inquiries

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of insurance plans, terminology, and prior authorization processes.
• Strong understanding of medical coding and billing practices (CPT, ICD-10 codes, etc.).
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• 2 years' experience in insurance verification, patient benefits
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid
