Administrator, Microsoft Systems Engineer
The target hiring range for this position is $85,600-$96,300.
Position Summary:
The Administrator, Microsoft Systems Engineer will design, plan, manage, and support Nightingale College’s cloud services such as Microsoft Azure. They will provide the support, administration, and security of cloud services with a strategic understanding of the scope and scalability of the cloud through organizational growth. The Administrator, Microsoft Systems Engineer will collaborate with other members of the IT team to accomplish tasks and projects related to the on-premise and cloud solutions to support the technological initiatives of the organization. This role will also be responsible for proper documentation and providing training on solutions and services for the IT team as necessary.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Manages architectural technical documentation based on NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and SSP (Systems Security Protocol) standards.
- Designs, implements, and manages all productivity suites and solutions on-premise and cloud.
- Designs and manages cybersecurity architecture and engineering.
- Develops and delivers training solutions for the IT function based on organizational need.
- Delivers on engineer-level administration and management of all productivity suites including but not limited to Office 365, Verity, Adobe, and Azure.
- Implements and oversees auditing and record-keeping management of security, software, and regulatory compliance.
- Participates in the successful implementation of other functional projects as they arise.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field that provides similar skills, or equivalent professional working experience is required.
- Demonstrated strength in the Microsoft Suite, such as the Microsoft Administration Portals, Security, SharePoint, Compliance, and Azure AD through the achievement of Net+, MCSE, MCSA, or 10 years of professional experience.
- Demonstrated a minimum five years of experience in Exchange engineering and management is required.
- Demonstrated a minimum five years of experience with Azure Storage, Intune, AutoPilot, and other VDI technologies is required.
- Prior experience with data visualization tools is a plus, such as PowerBI or Tableau.
- Experience with Linux, Kubernetes, and other cloud-related tools is also desirable.
- Microsoft Azure or Security certifications are desirable.
All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will pay for travel and lodging accommodations.
