GOALS:

  • Work in the FARM & Chem Sustainability Consulting Team and interact with other teams for example the strategy consulting team and the content team.
  • Achieve FARM & CHEM team Revenue expectations and contribute to achieve global sustainability consulting revenue and sales target

Knowledge of Sustainability Assessments (LCA, PCF)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Business Development (Sales):
    • Manage your own lead generation and sales pipeline. Work with senior managers and director level on the sales pipeline of your domain/sector/region
    • Use and maintain Sphera's sales tools (e.g. SalesForce, LCR, CBFs, etc.) and follow the sales process in a timely and accurate manner
    • Develop a deep knowledge of the overall Sphera offering portfolio and of Sphera’s overall sales organization and maintain it
    • Identify sales opportunities in your daily work and with your domain/sector/region
    • Prepare proposals (SOWs) for large and complex projects in closer alignment with senior managers and director level
    • Appropriately represent Sphera in client contacts
    • Respond to client requests in a timely and pro-actively manner
    • Regularly contact your existing clients to identify future needs
    • Align and agree with consultants and/or BDRs on scope, resources and timeline before asking for approval and sending out to the client
    • Ensure a collaborative atmosphere with the project teams and support in client communication when needed
    • Understand capacity situation in the teams and align with consulting delivery team on tentative committed project staffing before sending out SoWs.
    • Involve PMs in an early stage
    • Support to manage customer satisfaction issues
    • Ensure that PMs organize “Wrap up” calls with clients when projects are going to be closed and attend to identify upsell potential
    • Coordinate and share appropriate domain/sector knowledge in the area of FARM & Chem with the global consulting and business development organization
    • Pro-actively research existing and new or upcoming topics in the area of FARM & Chem that have sales potential
    • Pro-actively identify relevant conferences and participate in conferences with the goal of generating warm or hot leads
    • Support in developing  and executing the go-to-market plans in collaboration with the "Director Business Development - Consulting" as well as Marketing
    • Contribute to Sphera’s knowledge management and support project delivery teams according to agreed workflow for setting up reference slides with clients where possible (slide in pptx, preferred with Client logo and Client statement)
    • Support regions and software, and content sales
    • Support Sphera’s activities in the sector (globally where appropriate) and support management of sector sales in focus region
    • Support senior managers and director level in development activities in large potential and close client relationships
