Team Overview
The Strategy Team drives Depop's growth by answering critical questions and helping to identify and deliver its biggest opportunities. We're looking for someone to collaborate closely with senior leaders across the business and become a trusted partner to our Exec team. You’ll be part of a team that works together to solve complex problems and to guide Depop’s strategic goals during this exciting chapter of growth.
The team’s scope can be split into four key pillars:
Strategic Planning - Shaping Depop’s strategic vision, growth strategy and constraints (alongside cross-functional partners), and refining based on new internal/external learnings. This takes place across time horizons including quarterly reflections, annual planning as well as Depop’s longer-term strategy.
Strategic Articulation - Building tailored communication of the business strategy to the leadership, the wider company and our parent company Etsy.
Strategic Initiatives - Owning the delivery of select high-impact projects. These projects are typically early stage, highly cross-functional and of strategic importance to the business. This may include evaluating and progressing corporate development opportunities with external parties.
Strategic Operations - Helping Depop execute its strategy more effectively through working with leaders on improving their rituals, processes, resource allocation/org design (where relevant) and proactively joining the dots to improve cross-functional working.
