Responsibilities
- Lead all technical aspects of bid preparation, ensuring timely and competitive submissions that fully comply with employer and regulatory requirements.
- Lead all technical aspects during contracts negotiationsÂ
- Develop and implement bid tools, templates, and procedures to improve bid efficiency and quality.
- Monitor and analyze tender specifications, identifying risks and opportunities to optimize solutions.
- Manage and mentor a team of Sales Engineers, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle bid and proposal responsibilities.
- Provide clear direction, support, and technical oversight to the team, encouraging a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Actively participate in high-priority or complex bids and client engagements when necessary.
- Act as a primary stakeholder in new product development by providing feedback from the market and local requirements to R&D and Product Management teams.
- Collaborate with R&D to ensure new products meet market demands, technical standards, and design criteria.
- Review and validate technical design criteria and specifications during the development process.
- Work closely with the Sales team to ensure technical alignment with client requirements and commercial strategies.
- Coordinate with Project Execution teams to ensure smooth transitions post-contract and validate designs during execution.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the energy storage market.
