Job description

This is a great opportunity that will allow you to use your full L & D strength in developing an organisation of 90 staff.

For this 12-month contract we are seeking a Learning & Development Specialist who will be responsible for creating, implementing and managing learning strategies. The ideal candidate should be passionate about personal, team and organizational development.

  • Develop and implement learning strategies and programs
  • Ownership over leadership development programs
  • Work with suppliers to design e-learning courses, workshops and other training
  • Recommend and implement a suitable LMS
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
  • Collaborate with team leaders and managers to identify training needs
  • Recommend and manage training budget
  • Create reports on training activities and results
  • Foster a learning culture within the organization

To successfully secure this contract you will have/bring the following:

  • 10+ years of L&D experience
  • Strong understanding of effective learning methodologies
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently

Based in Manukau City this is not a work from home/hybrid opportunity.
