What You’ll Do:
Responsible for helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme
Will work closely with front-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation
Active participation in UI/UX and decisions
Contribute actively to the continuous development of process and product
Ability to enhance Drupal development quality
Assist in the creation of an effective, responsive design
Provide solutions to issues and suggestions for improvements
Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web application
Who We are Looking For:
Groundswell is seeking a Drupal Developer primarily responsible for back-end /module development for the customer's website. This person will be responsible for helping to formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and will work closely with front-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in systems analysis or business information systems. This includes 4 years in the area of developing system requirements and high-level design specifications and 2 years demonstrating Project Management experience and/or task leader positions
Bachelor’s Degree required
Demonstrated experience in back-end web system engineering and web systems design, development, integration and management, with emphasis on LAMP system architecture
Strong experience in working with both Drupal and WordPress content management systems as well as database systems, such as MySQL
Must have experience working in AWS environments
Must have strong skills in HTML5, SASS, JavaScript, and CSS
Must have experience working with PHP, Twig, Symfony, Composer, JavaScript, and jQuery
Must be able to write JavaScript with and without the use of frameworks such as jQuery, React, Vue.js
Demonstrated experience designing and developing responsive design websites
Must have experience and be comfortable with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Must have ability to understand CSS changes to have consistent style across platforms and browsers
Must have ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working, compliant HTML5
Code management with GitLab/GitHub or similar repository
Strong communication skills which include the ability to convey concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team
Must be U.S. Citizen per contract requirements
Candidate must be able to qualify and obtain a Public Trust investigation per contract requirements

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
$85,070.00 - $119,598.00
