Sentara Health is now hiring a Senior Business analyst - Operations (Remote) to join our Health Plan - Enrollment Operations Support Services team!

This is a Full-time & 100% Remote position

Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Senior Business Analyst will work with the Enrollment Support Services team and must have a strong sense of internal and external customer support.  The Senior Business analyst is responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of the enrollment operations for external health insurance. This role includes developing comprehensive business requirement documents, creating and performing complex SQL validations, developing junior Business Analysts, UAT, E2E testing validation, monitoring current performance, and contributing to process improvement efforts, as well as learning and demonstrating the performance of Enrollment functions. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will support Enrollment business processes and collaborate with external vendors and IT resources to ensure timely and successful implementation of organizational goals.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Level Degree
  • Required to have a a minimum of 7 years related experience in enrollment operations, IT, Project Management, and/or reporting.
  • Required to have advanced Excel Skills, Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Strong knowledge of SQL.
  • Apply Python for data analysis, automation, and building analytical models to drive business insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency with SQL, QNXT, handling external health insurance enrollment data, and experience working with external vendors.
  • Work equally well independently and in a team.
  • Lead/coach junior BAs understanding of business systems, process improvement, SQL, and gathering business and data requirements.
  • Experience with large data sets to identify trends and insights.
  • Liaising with testing teams and supporting production issues.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in researching and resolving production issues.
  • Productivity in deadline-driven environments and strong attention to detail and ensuring accuracy.
  • Effective prioritization and management of deliverables.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range:  $74,933.04 - $112,410.48 annually.
