Job Description:

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Opened in January 2014, the Bucharest office is constantly expanding.

The ITAO is responsible for the entire application lifecycle management of the INMAP OCR application. INMAP is a platform service that provides optical character recognition services (OCR).

The ITAO must ensure that the applications are enhanced and maintained in accordance with the Bank’s IT Policy requirements and ensure proper infrastructure support is available.


Responsibilities:

  • Engage and manage multiple main stakeholders to ensure regulatory application compliance, smooth operations, and a sound development lifecycle. (Including Application Management, Business, Security, Development, Test (QA), IT Support, Finance, external Vendors and Architecture)
  • Monitor technical Performance of Applications (Response Times, Error Rates, Memory/Storage Usage) and engage Issues
  • Closely work within the application management support team to ensure platform stability
  • Facilitating and contributing to the audit activities.
  • Be accountable for a high service availability and stability, while continuously managing  projects for maintenance or enhancements of the application
  • Ensure availability and stability of all relevant environment stages (INT, UAT (User Acceptance Test), PROD)
  • Facilitate a DevOps approach by setting up monitoring, configuring deployment-automation tools, raising, and implementing changes, as well as managing certificates and software licenses
  • Implement Configuration and Software Changes on Test and Production Environments
  • Analyse Log-Files
  • Provide Root Cause Analysis when requested
  • Security Patching (e.g., JDK)
  • Fix infrastructure-related Security Issues
  • Initiate Change Requests
  • Certificate Renewals
  • Implement Software Configuration Changes
  • SME support for ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the application.
  • Ensuring policy-compliance for the application.
  • Managing software licenses, security certificates and contracts with service providers and other support related activities.
  • Ensuring documentation availability.
  • Identifying, documenting and communicating risks and issues discovered during delivery cycle.


Skills

  • 3+ years of proven 3rd level support experience
  • Experienced in working with multiple stakeholders. Ability to create and naturally maintain good business relationships with all stakeholders
  • Highly organised and self-driven worker with strong analytical skills
  • Experience with ITIL Processes (Incident-, Problem-, Change-Management)
  • Preferable already with hands-on experience in Software Development, Governance, Project Management, Application Management or Operations
  • A strong technical level of understanding for some products/technologies below is highly welcomed: Windows servers/OS administration, database technology and scripting (Microsoft SQL), Powershell/batch scripting, Communication and encryption protocols (SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), TLS (Transport Layer Security)), Networking (firewalls, load balancers, etc.) and CI/CD toolchain (UCD, Bitbucket, TeamCity, Artifactory)
