Role Summary:

The Procurement and Project Support Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of project operations. This position involves managing procurement processes, supporting project estimation, and coordinating administrative tasks to meet client expectations effectively. The ideal candidate will bring excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to streamline procurement and project workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure materials by placing orders with suppliers and verifying pricing.
  • Provide estimation support to aid in accurate project planning and resource allocation.
  • Issue purchase orders to subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Monitor and verify material prices to optimize procurement costs.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to track progress and deadlines.
  • Establish and maintain project documentation systems for streamlined operations.
  • Provide technical support for project management software.
  • Deliver administrative support to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required to support project and operational needs.


Required Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably assisting Australian clients in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in procurement, project management, or administrative support roles.
  • Experience as a construction estimator is a strong advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
