Job description

Do you have skills to build a strong international partner network for a fast-growing tech company? Connect with IXON! We are looking for a Distribution Account Manager located in Warsaw to lead the expansion and support of our partner network in Eastern Europe, covering Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. Are you ready to make an impact?

At IXON, we connect machines with their builders. We are at the forefront of revolutionising the way machines are connected, monitored and controlled. By providing an end-to-end solution, consisting of our in-house developed cloud platform and connectivity hardware, we empower machine builders with the tools and technology to stay future-proof and transform the way they do business. All with one goal: more efficient production with the lowest possible impact on the world.

This is what energises you

Distribution partners are an important part of IXON’s international growth strategy. Our partners are our trusted local representatives, who are fully enabled and committed to support machine builders worldwide with their Remote-Access and IoT-transition.

Within your role as Distribution Account Manager Eastern Europe, you’ll be a vital link between IXON and our distribution partners, ensuring alignment, collaboration and mutual success. By offering training, resources and support to your partners, you will enable them to effectively promote and sell our solutions. Next to that, you will become responsible for the further expansion and development of the partner-network across Eastern Europe.

To sum it up, these are your daily activities to drive channel success:

  • Development of the Distribution Partner Network in Eastern Europe, guided by market analysis and prioritisation;

  • Qualifying and analysing the existing Partner Network, leading to the development of a program that ensures that our partners are equipped with effective marketing, training, and tools for success.

  • Providing comprehensive support to partners, including remote assistance, on-site guidance, coaching for sales and marketing teams, and facilitation of online- and content-marketing;

  • Travel periodically to support the partner on-site by performing joint customer visits, executing trainings and workshops, as well as supporting their own events to promote IXON;

  • Contract management / pricing support between distributors and IXON;

  • Developing a sales plan to achieve sales and profit targets for current and prospective accounts both on an annual and quarterly basis;

  • Identifying and analysing industry market trends that may impact sales efforts.

This makes you successful

An innate passion for building and maintaining strong and enduring relationships is at the core of this role’s success. Therefore, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, which helps you become a trustworthy partner within your region.

In addition, it would also be nice if you identify with the following points:

  • Proven experience in business development and account management, preferably in the tech industry;

  • You have a sharp analytical mind and a strategic outlook, which makes you capable of analysing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and devising plans to expand the distribution partner network effectively;

  • You are located in Warsaw;

  • You are willing to travel periodically (20% of the time), as engaging in joint customer visits, training and attending partner events is a crucial aspect of the role;

  • Excellent command of Polish and high-level English skills. Knowledge of an additional Eastern European language is a bonus.

Here’s what we offer you

At IXON, you will join an international and dynamic environment, where you can make an immediate impact and grow rapidly. Together with your colleagues at home and abroad, you will contribute to the development of our innovative organisation. You get the opportunity to unlock your potential in a dynamic work environment where autonomy, a vibrant work culture, personal growth and meaningful contributions in industrial automation awaits you.
