Job description

A bit about us

We’re Doccla, the virtual ward company. We provide patients and clinicians with the transformative power of remote patient monitoring.

Our existing customers are Hospitals, Community Services, and NHS Commissioners that we partner with to deliver tech enabled virtual wards. With our technology, logistics, and support patients can be discharged from a hospital ward to a virtual one and recover in the comfort of their own homes. Patients love our care pathways and health services become more efficient; it’s a win-win.

Doccla is a growing health tech startup; we have secured a £35ml at Series B, led by European VC Lakestar, with new investors French VC Elaia and existing investors General Catalyst, Speedinvest and the investment leg of German media company Bertelsmann also participating. We're solving real problems for patients and health systems and we are growing at exceptional speed. We’re looking for dedicated people with a passion for solving the problems in healthcare.

This is your chance to join us at a key stage of our growth. Our ambition is to be a category leader for virtual healthcare. You will be joining a highly entrepreneurial team that combines technical, clinical, operational, and commercial colleagues.

The Marketing Manager (UK & Ireland) will be the driving force behind all marketing activities in the region, responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance Doccla’s brand, generate leads, and support sales efforts. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial, UK&I, this role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, offering a unique opportunity to shape Doccla’s marketing presence across the region.

This is a dynamic role requiring a balance of creativity, project management, and data-driven decision-making to elevate Doccla’s position in the healthcare market, with a particular focus on NHS and private healthcare stakeholders.

In this role you will:
  • Strategic Marketing Leadership:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the UK & Ireland, aligned with Doccla’s commercial goals.
    • Own the end-to-end marketing function for the region, setting priorities and executing initiatives independently.

    Campaign Development & Execution:

    • Plan, execute, and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, content, and event-based activities.
    • Drive lead generation efforts to support the sales pipeline and regional business objectives.

    Content Creation & Management:

    • Create high-quality, engaging content, including case studies, blogs, whitepapers, and thought leadership pieces tailored to UK&I audiences.
    • Ensure all content is aligned with Doccla’s messaging and supports regional healthcare priorities.

    Brand Building:

    • Strengthen Doccla’s brand presence in the UK & Ireland by tailoring messaging to resonate with NHS and private healthcare stakeholders.
    • Act as a brand ambassador to position Doccla as a trusted leader in virtual wards and remote patient monitoring.

    Event & Partnership Marketing:

    • Organise and manage regional events, including webinars, trade shows, and conferences, to enhance market visibility.
    • Build and nurture partnerships with industry bodies and key stakeholders to maximise co-marketing opportunities.

    Performance Analytics:

    • Track and report on marketing performance using analytics tools, providing actionable insights to refine strategies.
    • Establish and monitor KPIs for marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with commercial goals.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the sales and product teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with business needs.
    • Support sales enablement through the creation of collateral, presentations, and tools tailored to customer needs.

    Budget Ownership:

    • Manage the regional marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve the greatest impact.
Requirements
  • Essential Skills & Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in a marketing role, ideally within healthcare, SaaS, or a related industry.
    • Proven track record in planning and executing successful marketing campaigns.
    • Strong writing and content creation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for healthcare audiences.
    • Experience working with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and CRM platforms.
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

    Desirable Skills & Experience:

    • Knowledge of the UK & Ireland healthcare landscape, including NHS structures and private healthcare markets.
    • Familiarity with healthcare marketing compliance and regulations.
    • Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
