Opportunity Overview 

We are looking for a talented and driven Product Marketing Specialist to join our team and lead the strategic positioning of SafeSend’s solutions within the tax, accounting, and finance industry. This role offers the opportunity to shape our messaging, go-to-market strategies, and customer engagement initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product success. As the central point of contact for buyer personas, product launches, and competitive insights, you’ll be integral to the company’s growth, ensuring that SafeSend’s value proposition resonates with key audiences in a rapidly evolving market. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Product Marketing Strategy and Execution: Act as the primary point of contact for buyer profiles, messaging, and value propositions across teams. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and business development to position new launches, content, and market strategies. Ensure all marketing efforts align with buyer needs throughout the campaign cycle.
  • Customer Research & Buyer Profiles: Conduct research to define SafeSend's buyer profiles through customer, analyst, and thought leader insights. Develop value-based positioning and stay informed on the competitive landscape to enhance buyer personas and improve product messaging.
  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Craft targeted product messaging for the tax and accounting market, working closely with the Product and Sales teams to highlight product benefits. Ensure consistent messaging across materials and collaborate with content teams to create refreshed content and identify new opportunities.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution and Product & Features Launch: Lead product and feature launches, rebranding efforts, and updates with cross-team alignment. Create marketing assets and conduct research on pricing, competitive positioning, and distribution to support GTM strategies and drive customer traction.
  • Market Research & Competitive Insights: Research customer needs, market trends, and competition in the tax and accounting software industry. Use insights to guide marketing campaigns and customer engagement strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and prioritize new opportunities.
  • Training & Enablement: Equip sales and customer support teams with the tools, demos, and competitive insights needed to effectively communicate product value. Create sales enablement materials such as battlecards, one-pagers, and playbooks to support client interactions.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment across goals, strategies, and messaging. Embrace a flexible, collaborative approach within our small, agile team to drive success.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Industry experience in tax and accounting is a significant advantage
